Product Description
The CD74HCT374E features eight edge-triggered D-type flip-flops with individual D inputs and Q outputs. The common buffered Clock (CP) and Master Reset (MR) inputs load and reset all flip-flops simultaneously. When the clock input is at either the HIGH or LOW state, the Q output will meet the setup and hold times on the D input before the LOW-to-HIGH clock transition. The 3-state outputs (Q) are controlled by the output enable (OE) input. When OE is LOW, the outputs are in 2-state mode. When OE is HIGH, the outputs are in the high-impedance state.
This device is fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology which gives it the inherent advantage of high speed operation. While the CD74HCT374E is functionally and pin compatible with the LS-TTL 74LS374, it has the speed of bipolar FET devices and significantly reduced power consumption of the CMOS technology.
Typically used in applications where high-speed, reliable, and low-power consumption memory storage is necessary, the CD74HCT374E is a versatile component that enhances the performance of a wide range of devices across various electronic segments.
