Description

The TC74VHCT240FS is a high-speed CMOS octal buffer/line driver with inverted three-state outputs fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology. This device features TTL-compatible inputs and is designed for high-performance applications where speed and low power consumption are critical. It's commonly used in bus driving applications where high current drive capability is required.

The TC74VHCT240FS consists of eight inverting buffers/line drivers with three-state outputs. The device is controlled by two output enable (OE) inputs. When OE is low, the outputs are enabled and provide the inverted logic of the inputs. When OE is high, the outputs are disabled and go to a high-impedance state. It operates within a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and is supplied in an SOP package. Its TTL compatible inputs are ideally suited for interfacing with TTL logic circuits in mixed-logic systems.
