The STEVAL-ISA053V2 from STMicroelectronics is a highly efficient, fully integrated power management solution designed for a wide range of applications. This evaluation board is based on the VIPer53, a high-voltage converter smartly integrating an 800 V rugged power MOSFET with PWM current-mode control.

The VIPer53 combines a dedicated current mode PWM controller with a high voltage power MOSFET on the same silicon chip. Typical applications cover offline power supplies for battery charger adapters, standby power supplies for TV or monitors, auxiliary supplies for motor control, etc.
