The HD74HC74FPEL-E is a dual D-type flip-flop with set and reset inputs, manufactured by Renesas Electronics America. This high-speed CMOS device utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology to achieve the high-speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining low power dissipation. It contains two independent flip-flops, each with individual set (SD), reset (RD), clock (CP), and data (D) inputs; Q and Q outputs are also provided.

Additional Details
The HD74HC74FPEL-E features asynchronous set and reset capabilities, meaning the outputs can be set or reset independently of the clock signal. A low level on the SD input sets the Q output HIGH, and a low level on the RD input resets the Q output LOW. Simultaneous LOW levels on both SD and RD are not allowed. The device is supplied in a 14-pin SOP package.
Absolute Maximum Ratings: Supply Voltage (VCC): -0.5 to +7.0 V, DC Input Voltage (VI): -0.5 to VCC + 0.5 V, DC Output Voltage (VO): -0.5 to VCC + 0.5 V, Operating Temperature (Topr): -40 to +85 °C.
