Product Description

The SN74AS174N is a member of the 74AS series, known for its advanced Schottky TTL technology. This technology ensures high-speed operation, which is significantly faster than conventional TTL devices. The device features six D-type flip-flops with direct clear inputs. Each flip-flop has an individual clear input and a common clock input, which is ideal for applications requiring synchronous state changes.

These flip-flops are edge-triggered, capturing data on the rising edge of the clock signal. The information on the D input is accepted by the flip-flops and transferred to the Q output during the positive-going transition of the clock pulse. The clear function is synchronous to the clock as well, and when the clear input is low, all six flip-flops are cleared to a low state.

With its wide operating temperature range and fast propagation delay, the SN74AS174N is suitable for various applications, including process control, communication systems, data processing, and other digital systems that require high-speed and reliable flip-flop operations.
