Product Description
The SN74AHCT573DGVR is a transparent D-type latch with eight latches and three-state outputs. It is designed for asynchronous communication between data buses. The latch appears transparent to the data when Latch Enable (LE) is high, and the data that meets the setup time is latched when LE is made low. The OE (Output Enable) input can be used to place the eight outputs in either a normal logic state (high or low logic levels) or the high-impedance state. In the latter case, the outputs neither load nor drive the bus lines significantly.
The high-impedance state and increased drive provide the capability to drive bus lines without need for interface or pullup components. OE does not affect the internal operations of the latch. Old data can be retained or new data can be entered while the outputs are in the high-impedance state.
