Product Description

The 74ACT273 is an advanced high-speed CMOS device fabricated with sub-micron silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology. It consists of eight edge-triggered flip-flops with individual D-type inputs and Q outputs. The clear input has a dedicated function to reset all flip-flops, bringing all outputs to a low level when it is held at a high state.

Each flip-flop is designed to capture the value on the D-input at the rising edge of the clock input. The device also features a buffered clock and clear inputs to reduce the possibility of unintended state changes. The 74ACT273 is suitable for register buffer applications, where it can store eight bits of data and maintain stability until they are needed.
