Product Description

The HEF4541BT,653 from NXP is a CMOS device that combines a fully static 4-stage binary ripple counter with 12 binary ripple carry output stages, an oscillator buffer, and an external clock input. The counter advances on the negative-going transition of the clock input. The oscillator configuration allows the design of either RC or crystal oscillator circuits. A RESET input is provided which resets the counter to the all-O state and disables the oscillator. A further feature is the ability to inhibit the counter advance via the HOLD input.
