The NXP HEF4014BP is a high-performance, 8-stage static shift register designed for use in a wide range of digital applications. The device features eight independent parallel inputs (D0 to D7), two serial inputs (DS1 and DS2), two clock inputs (CP1 and CP2), an overriding asynchronous master reset input (MR), and eight buffered parallel outputs (Q0 to Q7).

The operation of the HEF4014BP is straightforward and efficient. Data is shifted into the register on the rising edge of the clock pulse. Users can select between two data input configurations: either serial or parallel loading.
