Additional Details
The TC74HC173AF features a common clock and clear input for all four flip-flops. The outputs are enabled by two enable inputs, OE1 and OE2. When both OE1 and OE2 are low, the outputs are enabled. When either OE1 or OE2 is high, the outputs are in the high-impedance state. Data is loaded into the flip-flops on the rising edge of the clock signal when the enable inputs (G1 and G2) are low. Clearing the device is accomplished by applying a high level to the Clear input.
The TC74HC173AF is available in a SOP16 (Small Outline Package) and operates over a wide temperature range, typically -40°C to +85°C.
