SN74LV594ADBR - 8-Bit Shift Registers with Output Registers

The SN74LV594ADBR from Texas Instruments is a high-performance, 8-bit shift register that combines both serial and parallel interfaces with a set of output registers. The device features an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register that feeds an 8-bit D-type storage register. Inputs to the shift register include a Serial Data (SER) input and a Shift Register Clock (SRCK) input. The storage register is updated with the contents of the shift register on a positive transition of the Storage Register Clock (RCK) input. The eight outputs of the storage register (QA to QH) are available on the device pins, providing a parallel output of the shift register contents.

The SN74LV594ADBR is designed with a wide operating voltage range from 2 V to 5.5 V, which allows it to interface easily with both 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels.
