Product Description

The MC74HC573ANG octal latch is designed to capture the data present on its D inputs when the Latch Enable (LE) input is high, and retain this data when LE is low. The device includes eight latches with three-state outputs for bus-organized systems applications. When the Output Enable (OE) input is low, the eight outputs are active and reflect the data that was set at the latches. When OE is high, the outputs are in a high impedance state, which is neither high nor low, allowing for bidirectional operation of data bus lines in a microprocessor or microcomputer system.

This device is fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology, which provides a robust and static operation, retaining latch states even when the data inputs change.
