The DAC0800 is a monolithic 8-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) featuring a full-scale settling time of 150 ns while dissipating only 33 mW with ±5V supplies. No reference amplifier is needed since the device exhibits excellent output current stability over supply voltage variations. Also, the DAC0800 has high compliance complementary current outputs to allow differential output voltages of 20 Vp-p with simple resistor loads. The matched monolithic construction of this converter provides inherently superior accuracy and monotonicity over a wide temperature range.
