NXP 74LVC138ADB 3-to-8 Line Decoder/Demultiplexer

The NXP 74LVC138ADB is a high-performance, low-voltage Silicon-Gate CMOS device that is superior to most advanced CMOS compatible TTL families. This 3-to-8 line decoder/demultiplexer is designed for use in high-performance memory decoding or data-routing applications requiring very short propagation delay times. In high-performance memory systems, this decoder can be used to minimize the effects of system decoding. When used as a demultiplexer, it takes a single input and selects one of eight output lines, which is a feature particularly useful in implementing hardware interrupts and multiplexing signals.
