The Maxim Integrated MAX695EPE+ is a highly reliable microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit designed to maintain system integrity during power failures or unexpected conditions in digital systems. This supervisory circuit also provides a 1.3V threshold detector for power-fail warning, low-battery detection, or to monitor a power supply other than +5V. The chip-select gating feature (active-low CE IN and active-low CE OUT) further enhances the functionality of the MAX695EPE+, allowing for memory write protection during power failures or when the watchdog timer has expired.
