The MAX4559CSE+ is a high-performance, low-voltage, CMOS analog multiplexer/demultiplexer (mux/demux) from Maxim Integrated, designed to deliver precision signal routing in a variety of applications. This versatile component is ideal for use in communication systems, data acquisition, audio/video signal routing, and test equipment.

The MAX4559CSE+ operates with a single +5V supply or dual ±5V supplies, which makes it flexible for both unipolar and bipolar operating conditions. This device features a wide analog signal range that extends from GND to VCC, ensuring compatibility with most analog systems.

One of the standout features of the MAX4559CSE+ is its low on-resistance (Ron) of 100 ohms max, which is matched between channels to within 6 ohms max and remains flat over the specified signal range. This low on-resistance reduces signal distortion and allows for more accurate signal transmission. Additionally, the device boasts low charge injection (10pC max), minimizing the impact on signal integrity during switching events.

The MAX4559CSE+ offers a high off-isolation of -80dB at 1MHz and crosstalk between channels of -86dB at 1MHz, ensuring that signals are kept separate and preventing interference. The device also includes fast transition times (tON = 250ns max, tOFF = 145ns max), which enable quick switching between channels without significant delays.

For added convenience, the MAX4559CSE+ features a 44Ω (max) on-resistance match between channels and a 6Ω (max) on-resistance flatness, which are critical parameters for maintaining signal fidelity. The device is TTL/CMOS-logic compatible, allowing for easy integration into digital systems.
