The Maxim Integrated MAX4052EPE is a high-performance, single-ended, analog multiplexer that offers precision signal routing for data acquisition systems, communication devices, and industrial control applications. This versatile component is designed to operate with a single +5V supply or dual ±5V supplies, making it suitable for a wide array of analog signal switching tasks.

The MAX4052EPE features low on-resistance (RON) of 100 ohms max, which ensures minimal signal distortion and attenuation. This low RON is matched between channels to within 5 ohms max and remains flat over the specified signal range, providing excellent linearity and minimizing signal errors in the system.

With its single 8-to-1 multiplexer configuration, the MAX4052EPE allows for the selection of one of eight inputs to be routed to a single output, simplifying the design of complex signal routing matrices. The device's high off-isolation of -80dB min at 1MHz reduces the possibility of signal leakage between channels, thus maintaining signal integrity.

The MAX4052EPE is characterized for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments.
