Maxim Integrated's MAX313EPE+ Analog Switch

The MAX313EPE+ is a precision, quad, SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) analog switch from Maxim Integrated designed to provide high-performance switching solutions in a wide range of applications. This device integrates four independent switches that operate with a single supply voltage ranging from +10V to +30V or dual supplies of ±4.5V to ±20V, making it highly versatile for various circuit configurations.

With its low on-resistance of 100Ω max, which is matched between switches to 6Ω max and flat over the specified signal range (10Ω max), the MAX313EPE+ ensures minimal signal distortion and attenuation. This characteristic makes it an excellent choice for applications where signal integrity is crucial, such as audio signal routing, data acquisition systems, and communication devices. The on-resistance is also temperature compensated, maintaining consistent performance over the entire operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

The MAX313EPE+ boasts a fast switching speed, with a transition time of less than 250ns, providing quick response times in systems that require high-speed operation. Additionally, the device features a low charge injection of 10pC max, which minimizes the impact on the signal during switching events and helps to preserve the quality of the transmitted signal.

Maxim Integrated has designed the MAX313EPE+ with a TTL/CMOS-logic-compatible control input, ensuring easy integration into digital systems without the need for additional level-shifting components. This compatibility simplifies the design process and reduces the overall component count.
