Additional Details
The P3100SDRP features a breakover voltage of approximately 310V, allowing it to remain non-conductive during normal operating conditions. When an overvoltage event occurs exceeding this threshold, the device switches rapidly into a low-impedance on-state, diverting the surge current away from the protected circuit. The device is designed to handle high surge currents, typically specified by industry standards such as ITU-T K.20, K.21 and GR-1089. It is available in a surface-mount package, facilitating automated assembly processes.
Littelfuse SIDACtor devices are known for their robust performance and reliability in telecommunications protection applications. The P3100SDRP is a key component in ensuring the resilience of critical communication infrastructure against electrical threats.
