The TC74AC74FT is a positive-edge-triggered flip-flop. Information at the D input is transferred to the Q output on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. The preset (PRE) and clear (CLR) inputs are asynchronous and operate independently of the clock input. When PRE is low, the Q output is set to high. When CLR is low, the Q output is set to low. Simultaneous low logic levels on the PRE and CLR inputs will force both Q and Q outputs high.
The device is supplied in a 14-pin SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) package suitable for surface mount technology. The operating temperature range is typically -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for industrial applications.
