Product Description
The 74HCT393N comprises two 4-bit binary ripple counters with individual clock inputs (nCP0 and nCP1) but shared master reset inputs. Each counter features a divide-by-two section and a divide-by-eight section, which can be used separately or combined to function as a divide-by-16 binary counter.
Featuring a fully static operation, the counters advance on the falling edge of the clock pulse, allowing for precise timing and control in a variety of applications. The master reset input overrides all other inputs and clears the counter to its zero state when a high level is applied.
With its wide operating temperature range and the ability to interface directly with TTL systems, the 74HCT393N is suitable for use in functions such as frequency division, time delay generation, and event counting in industrial control systems, consumer electronics, and data processing equipment.
