Maxim Integrated MAX5250ACPP+ Precision DAC

The MAX5250ACPP+ is a high-performance, low-power, dual 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Maxim Integrated, designed to deliver precision analog output in a compact 20-pin PDIP package. For communication with microcontrollers or digital systems, the MAX5250ACPP+ utilizes a 3-wire serial interface which is SPI™/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™ compatible. The DAC also features a power-on reset circuit that ensures the DAC outputs power up to zero volts and remain there until a valid write to the device takes place. This feature is particularly important for applications where predictable startup conditions are necessary.

The robust design of the MAX5250ACPP+ includes an integrated output buffer amplifier which can drive capacitive loads up to 1000pF, offering flexibility in a wide range of applications.
