The MAX391CSE+T from Maxim Integrated is a high-performance, quad, single-pole single-throw (SPST) analog switch that offers precision switching capabilities for a wide range of applications. This robust component is designed to operate with a single +5V supply or dual ±5V supplies, making it versatile for both unipolar and bipolar operations.

With its low on-resistance (RON) of just 100Ω (max) and RON matching between channels of 5Ω (max), the MAX391CSE+T ensures minimal signal distortion and excellent channel-to-channel uniformity. This is particularly important in applications that require precise signal routing and high integrity, such as data acquisition systems, test equipment, and audio signal switching.

The device also boasts a low charge injection of 10pC (max), which minimizes the transient disturbance in the signal path when switching. Additionally, it features fast switching times (tON = 175ns max, tOFF = 145ns max) to support applications that require quick response times.
