Maxim Integrated MAX353ESE+ Precision Analog Multiplexer

The Maxim Integrated MAX353ESE+ is a high-performance, single-ended, 8-channel analog multiplexer that offers a perfect solution for precision signal routing in a variety of applications. This component is designed for systems requiring a high degree of accuracy, such as data acquisition systems, test equipment, and process control systems. The MAX353ESE+ allows for the selection of one out of eight channels to connect to a single output, efficiently managing multiple analog signals with ease.

Constructed with Maxim's proprietary silicon-gate process, the MAX353ESE+ boasts low charge injection, low power consumption, and an excellent electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Its charge injection is as low as 10pC at the switch turn-on, which minimizes the impact on the signal integrity, making it ideal for precision applications. Furthermore, the device operates with a single supply voltage ranging from +4.5V to +30V or a dual supply voltage from ±4.5V to ±20V, providing flexibility in various system designs.

The MAX353ESE+ features a low on-resistance of 100 ohms max, which remains flat over the specified signal range. This low and flat on-resistance reduces signal distortion and ensures excellent analog signal integrity. Additionally, the on-resistance match between channels is less than 2.5 ohms, which provides consistent performance when switching between channels.

Equipped with an industry-standard 16-pin narrow SO package, the MAX353ESE+ is easy to integrate into existing designs. It also includes break-before-make switching action, which prevents momentary shorting when switching between channels, further protecting the integrity of the signal being routed.
