The DG508ADY+ is a high-performance, single 8-channel CMOS analog multiplexer from Maxim Integrated. This precision device is designed to connect a single output to one of the eight inputs, depending on the state of its address pins. It is an ideal choice for applications requiring a reliable and efficient method to route multiple signal lines through a single channel.

This multiplexer operates with a single supply voltage ranging from +10.8V to +16.5V or a dual supply of ±4.5V to ±20V, making it versatile for various application needs. Its low power consumption and ESD protection up to 2000V per Method 3015.7 ensure that the DG508ADY+ is both energy-efficient and robust for industrial use.

The DG508ADY+ boasts a low charge injection of 15pC max, which minimizes signal distortion during switching, and it has an on-resistance of 100Ω max, ensuring signal integrity is maintained. The on-resistance match between channels is less than 5Ω, and the off-leakage current is as low as 0.5nA at +25°C, which is particularly beneficial for precision analog applications.

This multiplexer is TTL/CMOS logic compatible, allowing for easy integration into digital systems, and it does not require any logic supply to operate, simplifying the power supply design. The DG508ADY+ also features break-before-make switching action, which prevents momentary shorting when switching between channels.
