Maxim Integrated's DG303ACWE+T Analog Switch

The DG303ACWE+T from Maxim Integrated is a high-performance, dual SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) analog switch designed to facilitate signal routing in a wide array of applications. This precision monolithic device is an ideal choice for applications requiring low on-resistance, low leakage currents, and fast switching times.

Encased in a 16-pin wide SOIC package, the DG303ACWE+T operates over a wide voltage range from ±4.5V to ±20V, or a single supply voltage from 9V to 40V. This flexibility makes it suitable for both dual-supply and single-supply operations, ensuring compatibility with a variety of system designs. The switch's on-resistance is characterized at less than 100 ohms (Ω), which remains flat over the specified signal range, providing excellent linearity and low distortion for analog signals.

The DG303ACWE+T boasts a low charge injection feature, which minimizes the signal distortion during switching events. This attribute, combined with the device's fast switching times—tON is typically 175ns and tOFF is typically 145ns—makes it an excellent choice for sample-and-hold circuits, test equipment, and audio signal routing where signal integrity is paramount.
