Additional Details:
The P640P3100SBRP has a breakdown voltage (VBO) of 310V and a surge current rating of 40A. It is designed to be placed in series with the signal or power line being protected. When an overvoltage transient occurs, the SIDACtor® switches to a low-impedance on-state, clamping the voltage to a safe level and diverting the surge current away from the protected equipment. The low capacitance ensures minimal signal distortion in high-speed data lines. The bidirectional protection capability provides protection against both positive and negative surges. The package is a DO-214AA (SMB). This device provides robust and reliable overvoltage protection for a wide range of applications.
