Additional Details:
The P3500SBL features a breakover voltage (VBO) of 350V. When the voltage exceeds this level, the SIDACtor rapidly switches to a low on-state voltage, diverting the surge current away from the protected circuitry. This fast response time and low clamping voltage are critical for effective surge protection. The holding current (IH) is specified to ensure that the device remains in the on-state during the surge event. Littelfuse SIDACtor devices are known for their robustness and reliability, making them a popular choice for surge protection in a wide variety of applications.
