The MAX6424UK21-T is a compact, high-precision microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit designed by Maxim Integrated to monitor power supplies in digital systems. It provides a crucial function in ensuring system reliability and robustness by resetting the µP during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions. With its small SOT23 package, it is an ideal solution for space-constrained applications that require the highest level of system stability.

This device features a factory-trimmed reset threshold voltage of 2.10V, making it suitable for monitoring 2.5V power supply voltages. The MAX6424UK21-T asserts a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below the preset threshold, keeping the reset active for a minimum of 140ms after VCC has risen above the reset threshold. This ensures that the microprocessor has adequate time to stabilize and start up correctly.
