PTC Resettable Fuses : 3168 - Page 2
PTC Resettable Fuses, also known as polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) devices, play a critical role in circuit protection. These fuses allow for automatic reset after an overcurrent event, providing a reusable solution that reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
Commonly used in consumer electronics, automotive, and telecommunications, PTC resettable fuses limit current by increasing resistance when an overcurrent occurs, thereby protecting sensitive components from damage. Once the fault is cleared, the resistance decreases, allowing the circuit to resume normal operation.
